"My Kaces Crash Pad Drum Rug is one of the most important and most used pieces of gear that I own!"

I owe it all to my Mom!  When I was 12 years old and had the crazy idea that I wanted to play drums, she was the one who bought my first drum set and signed me up for lessons. I played in school bands throughout middle school and high school as well as jamming my favorite Rush songs with my friends.

Fast forward to 2008 and I joined Salt Lake City based rock band American Hitmen. We were featured on Season 8 of America's Got Talent making it through the Chicago and Las Vegas auditions and playing on the live show at a sold out Radio City Music Hall in New York City which was also seen by millions of people on national tv. In 2009/2010 we had the honor of being the first American rock band to play an extended run of shows (over 40) in Vietnam when we were selected to play at the new Hard Rock Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In 2011 we returned to Asia to play over 20 shows at the prestigious Club Cubic in Macau, China as well as a return to Vietnam for a week of highly successful shows back at the Hard Rock Cafe. Since then we have been constantly touring all over the United States and next Spring we'll be taking our brand of rock and roll overseas to do a run of shows in Europe.

I have also been a drum instructor for the last 5 years and currently carry a roster of 15 students.
